Floyd "Buddy" Adams Sr., 93, of Palmersville, peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, surrounded by his family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Bowlin Funeral Home from 12:30 pm until the funeral service at 2:00 pm, with interment at Palmersville Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jamie Batey and Bro. Mickey Damesworth.

Born to the late W.P. Adams and Claire Pickering in Wisner, Louisiana, Buddy cherished the outdoors, with a particular fondness for hunting and fishing. He often shared his love of fox hunting with his brother and was known for his storytelling abilities, bringing joy to those around him.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 75 years, Edna Adams; sons Doyle (Lois) Adams and Floyd (DeDe) Adams Jr.; daughter Carol (Edward) Adams Noble; brother-in-law James Batey; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Buddy was preceded in death by his 11 siblings.

He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
