George Nathan Browning

Mr. George Nathan Browning, Sr., 77, of Dresden, TN died Friday, February 13, 2015 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral services were Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sunset Cemetery.

Mr. Browning was born July 17, 1937 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Arland and Louise Kiser Browning, Sr. He was the retired owner of George's Restaurant in Dresden and a member of Bible Union Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sisters; Alice Wiley and Barbara Brown, brothers; John Browning, Sr. and Arland Browning, Jr. and step mother, Ann Browning.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Carden Browning of Dresden, son; George (Paula) Browning, Jr. of Dresden and daughters, Cynthia (Brian) Morgan and Elizabeth Browning both of Dresden, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, sister, Brenda (Billy) Coffee of Hot Springs, AR, sister in law, Robbie Browning of Dresden and brothers in law, Jerry Wiley of Chicago, IL and Charlie Brown, Sr. of Lebanon, TN
