George "Buck" Hurt

Mr. George Glenn "Buck" Hurt, 81, of Dresden, TN died Friday, November 21, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services were Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Sunset Cemetery.

Buck was born March 29, 1933 in Martin, TN to the late Alvie and Willie Brock Hurt. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Lochridge Hurt and two children, Stan (Teresa) Hurt of Knoxville and Pam Hurt of Brentwood. He is also survived by one grandchild, Brittany Webb and two great grandchildren, Skylar and Jack Webb, and sister, Frances Wadley of Milan, TN He was preceded in death by stepson, Donald "Butch" Strickland. Mr. Hurt was a car dealer and real estate entrepreneur and a member of Dresden First Baptist Church.
