George Harvey Mcwherter

Graveside Funeral services for Mr. George Harvey McWherter, age 82 of Palmersville will be held on Saturday, February 9th at 1:00 pm in Bethany Church of Christ Cemetery near Cottage Grove, burial will follow the service.  Visitation will be held on the day of the service at Bowlin Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.  George Harvey McWherter was born March 14, 1936 to the late Clyde Austin McWherter and Luna Harris McWherter in Palmersville, TN. He died at Jackson Madison County General Hospital on Friday, February 1, 2019.  He was a United States Veteran and worked as a tool and die maker.  He is survived by his daughter, Rene (Wade) Stanley of Gates, TN.; his sisters, Betty Guido of Scottsdale, Arizona and Carol Hope Nelson of Darien, Illinois and two grandchildren.
