Gerald Howard Harris

Mr. Gerald Howard Harris age 85, of Palmersville, TN died Wednesday, July 25, at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden. Graveside services for Mr. Harris were held Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 8:00 AM in Palmersville Cemetery with burial immediately following. Mr. Harris was the widower of Rudelle Stow Harris, the father of Kerry Lynn (Charlene) Harris and Glenda (Pete) Staples of Palmersville, the brother of John E. Harris of Columbia, S.C. and Retha Kelley of Dresden. He is also survived by 3 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Harris was born June 14, 1927 in Weakley County to the late Eulas and Lella Payne Harris. He was a farmer, mechanic, and a member of the Palmersville Baptist Church. He was a World War II Army Veteran.
