He was the oldest member of Jolley Springs Baptist Church and served as deacon, teacher, church bus mechanic, grounds keeper, builder of the new church in its current location. Anything that needed to be done, he was willing to lend a hand and do. He was a faithful prayer, praying for his church, his pastor, and this country that he fought to protect. He was ordained as a deacon in 1961 and held that position until his death. Mr. Moon was known in the area as the "Tractor Man". He was a gifted mechanic who could repair or build anything, but tractors were what he enjoyed the most. He could fix anything be it a car, truck, lawnmower. He was a carpenter, electrician, plumber, and appliance tech. He was truly extraordinary. He loved his family well and taught us everything we needed to know except how to live without him. Brother Tony Michael and Brother Richard Brewer will officiate the service.
