Gilbert Eugene Dilday

Gilbert Eugene Dilday, age 92 of Dresden, passed away on April 17, 2024 at Van Ayer Healthcare in Martin.  Graveside funeral services will be Sunday, April, 21, 2024 in Sunset Cemetery at 2:00 pm.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm.  Friends may gather in Sunset Cemetery just prior to the service at 2:00 pm. Gilbert Eugene Dilday was born February 10, 1932 in Dresden, TN to the late Richard and Susie (Bradberry) Dilday.  He is survived by his son, Randall Dilday (Josefina) of Kentucky, five grandchildren, David Alan Dilday Jr. (Codi), Lance Dilday (Stephanie), Eric Dilday (Jennifer), Joseph Dilday, and Amber Dilday and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David Alan Dilday Sr., brother, Robert William Dilday, his sisters, Mary Sue Eaves, Mattie Pearl Gallimore and Alice Ruth Felty.  Gilbert was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
