Gladys Jean Cherry

Gladys Jean Cherry, 78 of Palmersville, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A memorial service will be held Friday October 24, 2025 at 4 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 3 pm until service time at 4 pm. Gladys was born in Palmersville on November 8, 1946 to the late Elvis and Kathrine Thompson Casey. She is survived by her husband Russell Cherry Sr., son Russell (Lori Ann) Cherry jr., daughters Ramona (Randy) Roberts, and Kathy Dunlap, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Ben Cherry, and brothers Kenneth Dale, Mike, and Danny Casey. The family has asked in Lieu of flowers donation be made to Autism Tennessee at autismtn.org
