Glen William Cooley

Bro. Glen William Cooley age 79, of Martin, died Monday May 6, 2013 at his residence in Martin. Graveside services for Bro. Cooley were held Thursday May 9, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Sandy Branch Cemetery near Martin.

Bro. Cooley was born May 17, 1933 in Obion County, TN. He was the husband of Betty Jean Mealer Cooley and the father of Michael Cooley of Martin, Suzanna Bills of Lewisburg, TN, Sherral (George) Miles of Lewisburg, TN, Terry Jo (Mark) Lynch of Dyersburg, and Stacey James of Latham. He is also survived by his brother Marion Cooley of Fulton, KY, eleven granchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, William and Loudon Jones Cooley and one great grandchild.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Latham, and a US Army Korean Veteran. He was married December 21, 1952. Bro. Cooley was a Baptist minister and a former maintenance worker at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center.
