Gregory Steven Permenter, age 48, of Fort Mill, South Carolina died Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Graveside services were conducted Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, TN with burial immediately following.
Mr. Permenter was a 1981 graduate of Dresden High School and a member of Dresden First Baptist Church.
Mr. Permenter is survived by his parents, Shirley and Wendell Alexander of Dresden, TN and Dr. William D. and Ann Permenter, Sr. of Pensacola, FL; sons, Steven, Joseph, Matthew and Michael Permenter of Dyersburg, TN; brothers, Dr. William D. (Pamela) Permenter, Jr. of Humboldt, TN and Douglas (Darla) Permenter of Pensacola, FL; sister, Stephanie Permenter Pfalzgraf of Buffalo, NY; and fiancee, Lisa Taylor Crutchfield of Fort Mill, SC. He was preceded by a brother, Patrick Hawks Permenter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Dresden First Baptist Church Building Fund, or the charity of your choice.
