Mr. Guy Edward James, Sr., age 81, of Palmersville, TN died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. James were Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in New Hope Cemetery near Latham.

Mr. James was born October 16, 1932 in Obion County, TN to the late William Jesse and Minnie Ethel Harrison James. He was a maintenance department employee at the University of Tennessee at Martin and Church of Christ by faith.

Mr. James is survived by his wife, Thelma Marie Chesser James, sons; Terry Edward (Deborah) James of Gleason and Guy "Eddie" (Lisa) James, Jr. of Palmersville, daughter, Sheila Marie (Michael) Belew of Palmersville, TN, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
