Harrold Lloyd "Buddy" Blakemore age 74 of Dresden died on August 28, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Blakemore were held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Judge Tommy Moore and Mark Maddox officiated the service. Mr Blakemore is survived by his wife; Sylvia Yarber Blakemore of Dresden, his son; John (Leanne) Blakemore of Chapel Hill, TN., his daughter; Scarlett (Randy) Reynolds of Lynchburg, TN., his sister; Brenda (Roy) Morrow of Martin, TN. and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Walter Lloyd Blakemore and Annie Laura Adams Blakemore. He was a Dresden Middle School teacher for over 45 years.
