Hazel Mae Jackson (Tilley)

Hazel Mae Jackson age 86 of Dresden passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Weakley Co. Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral services for Mrs. Jackson were held on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM inside the Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery. Dr. Don McCulley officiated the services. Mrs. Hazel Mae Tilley Jackson was born on December 2, 1929 to the late Grover Tilley and Clara Freeman Tilley in Weakley Co., TN. She was the widow of Mr. Hassel E. Jackson and the former owner of Leadway Grocery Store located in Dresden, TN. She was a member of Dresden First Baptist Church. She is survived by her 2 sons; Tommy (Cathy) Jackson of Dresden, and Ron (Teresa) Jackson of Martin, TN., her daughter Sandra Smith of Dresden, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Along with her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by her 2 brothers; Gilbert Tilley and Marvin Tilley; her 4 sisters; Ruby Sadler, Rozel Taylor,Midgeon Roberts and Lucille Tilley Mansfield.
