Henry Wayne Austin

Henry Austin passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love and faith. He cherished
his family, friends, and church community. Henry had a remarkable ability to bring joy to
others, delighting in making people laugh with his playful spirit and quick wit.
Throughout his life, he embraced various roles, but cherished being a husband and
father most, taking pride in nurturing his family. Henry loved Southern cooking,
gardening, and fishing, sharing these pleasures with loved ones. A dedicated church
member, Henry served as a Sunday school teacher and participated in prayer meetings,
sharing his faith with others. As we remember Henry, we celebrate a life filled with love,
laughter, and commitment to family and faith. His spirit will continue to inspire those who
knew him.

Henry is survived by his wife, Diane Austin, children Allica "Kicker" Austin of Benton, KY,
and Hailey Rice (Lee) of Brush Creek, TN, honorary daughter Dawn Dyer of Dresden,
and brothers Jim Austin (Delma) and Lee Austin (Brenda). He is preceded in death by
his daughter, Amanda Austin, and parents, Harrell and Emma Lee Austin.
