Honorable Charles Henry Mcwherter

The Honorable Charles Henry McWherter age 84, of Martin, formerly of Palmersville, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Funeral services for Mr. McWherter were held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with private burial that followed in the Palmersville Cemetery. Judge Tommy Moore officiated the services. Charles McWherter was the son of the late Joe Boyd and Robbie Pentecost McWherter. He has one son; Joseph Victor McWherter, J.D. of Austin, TX and one daughter; Dr. Lisa Carol McWherter (Dr. Douglas William Hanner), of Anderson, South Carolina. He is also survived by one grandchild, Rachel Grace Hanner. Along with his parents; he was preceded in death by his brother; David Terry McWherter.
