Iva Capps Adams

Iva Capps Adams, age 96, passed away June 2 2015. Iva was born Sept. 30 1918 near Gleason TN, daughter of the late Sam and Birdie (Hedge) Capps. She was preceded in death by her 9 siblings. Iva was the beloved wife of the late Roland D Adams , devoted mother to the late Larry and Leonard Adams, dearest grandmother to Scott, Rebbecca,David,Michael,Tiffany,Brian and Eric. Loving Great grandmother of 15.

Iva was a longtime resident of Dresden, a member of Adams Chapel Baptist Church and an employee of Zenith Corporation in Chicago. She had been living with her grandson David and wife Simona since 2003 in Chicago where she had been lovingly cared for and will be missed by all. Funeral services were Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden with burial following in Eastside Cemetery in Martin.
