Jacob Albert Ellis Jr.

Jacob Albert Ellis Jr., 78 of Dresden, died at AHC of Paris, Tennessee, on January 24, 2022.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Bowlin Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will also be on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 12 noon until service time at 2:00 pm.  Jacob Albert Ellis Jr. was born July 6, 1943, in Newport News, Virginia, to the late Jacob Albert Ellis Sr. and Ruby May Smith.  He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Beck Ellis; sons, Michael Ellis and Jonathan Ellis; daughters, Lori Ellis Best and Joy Ellis Moore; stepsons, Darren, Cameron, and Keenan Maqouirk; sisters, Nancy Copley and Tammi Ellis Taylor; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.  Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, James David Ellis and Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Ellis and sisters, Linda Minga and Joyce May Ellis.
