James Allen Hoskins

James Allen Hoskins, 79, of Yorkville, TN formerly of Dresden died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at his residence. Graveside services for Mr. Hoskins were Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 3:30 pm at Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason, TN with burial immediately following.

Mr. Hoskins was born March 28, 1935 in Newbern, TN to the late Milton Enlow and Pauline Hassell Dail Hoskins. He was a self employed concrete and construction contractor and a member of Southside Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his son, Johnny Hoskins and grandchildren, Markie Hoskins and Shelby Lynn Hoskins.

James is survived by his daughter, Fran (Jeff) Jolley of Palmersville, TN and sons; Ricky (Mary) Hoskins and David (Amy) Hoskins both of Springville, TN, brother, Bill Hoskins of Gleason, TN sisters; Mary Lynn Taylor of Nashville, TN and Betty Doherty of Illinois, nine grandchildren; Jeffrey and Paull Jolley, Nicole Hardin, Ricky, Adam, Savannah, Ryan, Kara and Lane Hoskins and eleven great grandchildren. He is also survived by special friend Carolyn Driver of Yorkville, TN
