James Samuel. January 10, 2023. Age 89 of Dearborn Heights. Loving father of Michael Lochridge, Barbara Hurst, and Dwight Lochridge. Dear brother of Ann Nanney and Jean Ainley. Dearest papa of Nicholas and Carissa. Loving great-grandfather of Leland. James was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Verlie Lochridge as well as by his siblings Margaret, Sue, Marion, Jackie, Obert, Josie, and John. James will be deeply missed by family and friends. In-state Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with a 12:00 noon funeral service to follow at Gilead Baptist Church, 12501 Telegraph Road, Taylor. Arrangements entrusted to the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. (313 ) 291-1800. James will be transported to Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden TN for services and burial. Interment Good Springs Cemetery, Dukedom, TN. Graveside services in Tennessee will be held Monday in Good Springs Cemetery in Dukedom at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held Monday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm Donations may be made to Gilead Church.
