James Russell Norris

Graveside Funeral services for Mr. James Russell Norris age 86 of Dresden will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Sunset Cemetery at 2:00 pm with burial to follow the service.  Friends may gather in the cemetery prior to the service beginning at 2:00 pm, there will be no visitation at Bowlin Funeral Home.  James Russell Norris was born June 3, 1932 in Lewisburg, TN. to the late Joseph Douglas Norris and Florence Hopkins Norris, he passed from this life on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Diversicare of Martin.  He is survived by his wife; Barbara Pyrdom Norris, his sons; Scott (Tabitha) Norris of Martin, Steven (Elizabeth) Norris of Hopkinsville, KY., his daughter; Stephany Norris Robinson of Martin, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother Cartlon Norris.  Mr. James Russell Norris proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army.
