Janet Wilson Vowell

Janet Wilson Vowell, 62 of Dresden, passed away Monday evening at Jackson madison County General Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 2 pm, at Bowlin Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Como, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 pm until service time at 2 pm. Mrs. Vowell was born June 30, 1958 in Mckenzie, Tn to the late John Martin and Hester Elizabeth Morris Wilson.  She was a member of Jolley Springs Baptist Church.  She is survived by her husband David Vowell, daughters Jenny (Mike) Blom, and Heather (Wayne) Gibson, brother John David Wilson, sister Betty Jane (Terry) McDaniel, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Michael Ray Summers and a brother, Bobby Wilson.
