Janice May Westbrooks, 64, of Martin, TN died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Union City. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bible Union Baptist Church with burial following in Bible Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Westbrooks was born October 13, 1949 in Jackson, Michigan to Elmira Miller Munro and the late Fredrick Munro. She was a former teacher in Weakley and Obion Couny and Fulton, KY. She was the coordinator for TN State Early Headstart Program and a member of Bible Union Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Westbrooks of Martin, daughters; Kari (Teddy) Smith of Martin and Angie (Dale) Ross of Troy, TN, stepson, Clayton (Amy) Westbrooks of Milan, TN, three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Elmira Munro of Onondaga, Michigan, sister, Retha House of Raleigh, North Carolina and brothers; Mike Munro of Lansing, MI, Steve Munro of Onondaga, MI and Kevin Munro of Albion, MI.
