Jason Scott Petty, 39, of Dresden, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Martin. Funeral services were Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden with burial following in Salem Cemetery near Rutherford, TN.

Mr. Petty was the son of Johnny and Martha Tosh Petty, Sr. of Dresden. He was born January 25, 1975 in Union City, TN. Jason was a pest control exterminator and a Baptist. He is also survived by his brothers, Johnny (Melissa) Petty, Jr. of Dresden, and Chris and Chad Petty both of Martin. In addition he is survived by his maternal grandparents, John and Marion Tosh of Rutherford, TN. Grandparents, James and Mary Sue Petty preceded him in death.
