Jeanne Biggers

Mrs. Jeanne Dunlap Biggers passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday morning July 15 at Van Ayer Nursing Home in Martin, TN.
Mrs. Biggers was  a member of Travis Chapel Church in Dresden, TN. She was a health care worker for many years. She was a loving mother and friend to so many people in her 91 years of life.
Mrs. Biggers was born May 7, 1932 in Tiptonville, TN. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Carrington Dunlap, her father John Allan Dunlap, husband, James “Junior” Biggers (Palmersville, TN) , and 2 sons, Billy Ray Ely (Shafter, CA) and William “Fat Cat” Bennett (Camden, TN).
Mrs. Biggers is survived by her children, Murphy Dunlap (Melbourne, FL), Starr Bennett Simmons (Martin, TN), Winniford Bennett (Martin, TN), and Edward Brooks (Dresden, TN) as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren (too many to mention).
A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 22, 2023 at Travis Chapel Church located on Travis Chapel Road Dresden, TN from 11am-1pm. Mrs. Biggers will be laid to rest at a private ceremony on a later date.
