Jesse Wilburn Palmer

Jesse Wilburn Palmer, 76, of Bloomington, IL died Sunday, January 27, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services were Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Oak Grove Cemetery near Dresden.

Mr. Palmer was born in Blytheville, AR on July 20, 1936 to the late Alonzo and Clara Hoggard Palmer. He was a U. S. Army veteran and an Engineer for the B & O Railroad.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley L. Essary Palmer of Bloomington, IL; three sons, Kevin Palmer of Aurora, IL, Keith Palmer of Bloomington, IL, and Billy Love of Springfield, MO; a daughter, Brenda Akers of Blytheville, AR; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister Mayrene Cummings of Sandwich, IL.
