Jimmie David Winstead

Jimmie David Winstead age 78 of Dresden passed away on July 6, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.  Funeral services will be Friday, July 9, 2021 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Acree Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Friday morning from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.  Jimmie David Winstead was born on February 12, 1943 in Latham, TN to the late Carmen and Nell Ruth (Gatewood) Winstead He is survived by his wife, Betty Ainley Winstead, his sons, Allen (Melanie) Winstead of Dresden, David (Candice) Winstead of Greenfield, Freddie (Marie) Winstead of Dresden, William (Hannah) Winstead of Columbia, SC.  He also leaves behind his brothers, Ron, Bill, Terry, Tom, Walter, and Michael Lynn Winstead.  His sisters, Samantha Nunnery and Debbie Roberts, his eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmen Winstead and Nell Ruth Gatewood Winstead, his brothers, Kenneth Winstead, Sam Winstead and his sister, Judy Winstead.  Jimmie retired from M.T. D. Products in Martin.
