Jo Jean Gardner (Edwards)

Mrs. Jo Jean Edwards Gardner, 79, of Warner Robins, GA, formerly of Dresden, TN died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Gardner were Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sunrise Cemetery in Dresden, TN.

Mrs. Gardner was born in Dresden on December 13, 1935 to the late Molly Edwards and Aaron Irvine. She was a school cafeteria cook. She was a member of Warner Robins CME Church and a former member of St. James CME Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Gardner, eight brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Christa Gardner of Warner Robbins, GA and Cheryl (Efrain) Mark, Sr. of LaPlata, MD; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Jackie Edwards of Dresden, TN and Gail (Charles) Bosha of Martin, TN; and two brothers-in-law, William Gardner of Lansing, MI and David Ware of Evansville, IN.
