Joe Wayne Williams

Joe Wayne Williams, age 72 of Dresden died on March 4, 2019 at his residence.  Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held on Thursday, 3/7/19 in Unity Baptist Church at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in Unity Church Cemetery.   Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3/6/19 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  On Thursday, 3/7/19 the family will receive friends at Unity Baptist Church from 12 noon until service time at 1:00 pm.   Bruce Hollingsworth and Terry Logan will officiate the service. Joe Wayne Williams was born on July 9, 1946 to the late Samuel and Minnie Earnest Williams in Pontotoc, MS.  He is survived by his wife; Sherron Fischer, his sons; Joe Williams Jr., Tony Wayne Williams all of Dresden, James Thomas (Connie) Williams of Brownsville, and Sean Fischer of Florida, his daughters; Stacey (Richard) Moody of Latham, Carrie (Jody) Morgan of Martin, Tanya Williams and Athene (Chad) Sullivan both of Dresden, his brothers; George Williams and Carlus Williams of Brownsville, his sisters; Dorothy (Freddie) Hess of Florida, Regena Williams and Mary (Terry) Logan both of Brownsville.  He also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
