Joel Scott "Scottie" Morgan, 42, of Dresden died Monday, May 13, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services for Mr. Morgan were Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Cemetery with burial immediately following.

Scottie was born August 5, 1970 in Martin, TN. He was a welder at MTD. a US Navy Veteran and a Baptist by faith. Scottie is survived by his wife, Teresa Smith Morgan of Dresden, daughter, Kristin Nicole Morgan of Dukedom, TN mother, Brenda (Donald) Davis of Dresden, father; Danny Brown of Gleason, TN, sister, Mandy (Chad) Webb of Dyersburg, grandmother, Mrs. Francis Brown of Dresden and stepchildren, Tracey Rakes and Whitni Cheyenne Quinn of Paris, TN
