John Earl Davis

John Earl Davis, 67, of Dresden, TN died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his home in Dresden. Funeral services were Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Travis Chapel Cemetery near Dresden.

Mr. Davis was born in Lake County, TN to the late Clifford and Ruby Doster Davis. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Weakley County Highway Department, a Mason in the Palmersville Masonic Lodge, and a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Monroe Davis.

He is survived by two sons, Phillip Davis and Earl Davis of Dresden; two daughters, Misty Ledezma and Amanda Davis of Dresden; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Davis of Dresden; and a sister, Shirley Wheeler of Horn Lake, MS.
