John William Perkins

John William Perkins, 67 of Murray, KY formerly of Dresden, passed away Saturday August 31, 2024 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 2 pm at West Union Baptist Church in Dresden. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday at the church from 11 am until service time at 2 pm. There will not be any vistation at Bowlin Funeral Home. Mr. Perkins was born March 21, 1957 in Martin, Tn to the late John Wesley Perkins, and Virginia Prince Perkins. Along with his mother Virginia, Mr. Perkins is survived by his wife Rita Matheny Perkins, sons Gene Wesley (Donna) Perkins, and Johnathan (Amy) Perkins, daughter Natalie Cherrie (Joe) Paulson, sister Kathy (Robert) Stover, and 9 grandchildren. Mr. Perkins was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Almo, KY.
