Johnny Edward Petty Sr.

Private graveside funeral services for Mr. Johnny Petty Sr., age 71 of Dresden, will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in Salem Cemetery in Rutherford, TN at 2:30 pm.

Mr. Petty died on April 23, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN. Mr. Petty was born August 16, 1948 in Kenton, TN, to the late James and Mary Sue Crowell Petty.  He is survived by his wife, Martha (Tosh) Petty of Dresden, his sons, Johnny Petty Jr. of Palmersville, Chris (Jenny) Petty of Martin, Chad (Robbie) Petty of Martin, his sisters, Anne Petty Lutz of Dresden, Phyllis (William) Biggers of Dresden, Brenda (Paul) Hoover of Dover, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jason Scott Petty. Mr. Petty was a plumber by trade.
