Judy Faye Tackett, a dedicated and caring retired registered nurse, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born on September 30, 1951, in Martin, Tennessee, Judy lived a life marked by kindness and devotion to both her family and her career.

Throughout her years as a nurse, Judy touched countless lives with her compassion and skill. Those who knew her remember her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others. After many years of service in the medical field, she retired, but her nurturing nature never wavered.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Dale Tackett, who stood by her side through the years. She is also deeply missed by her children: son Jason Tackett and daughter Tina Tackett. Her family extended further to include her brother, Narvin Griffin, and sister, Alena Holt. Judy’s heart was full with the joy brought by several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Griffin and Henrietta Nichols, who surely shaped the caring person Judy became.

At Judy’s request, she was cremated. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date, giving friends and family an opportunity to come together and remember her loving spirit.

Judy Faye Tackett’s life was a testament to love, care, and family. While she is no longer with us, the warmth she shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
