in 1957

. She attended Murray State University where she
met the
love of
her life, Joe R. Blincoe. The two dated four years in college and were married
on December 25, 1961. They moved to Les
tervi
lle, Mi
ssouri, in 1962
to begin teaching careers
and start their family. Joe and Julia had two child
ren, Ron
and Ellen
, in Lestervi
lle before
moving to Madras, Oregon
,
in 1976. Julia continued to work as a high s
chool guidance
counselor and home economic
s teacher while making a
home for her tight
-
knitted family of
four
. She was a loving
and devoted wife and mother who whole-
heartedly served others with
love and joy. Juli
a
retired
in 1996
after 34 years of teaching
. In
retirement, Julia enjoyed
traveling with family
and
friends,
sewing, quilting,
crocheting, cooking
; she
was
active in her
church
, First Baptist Church of Madras.
She enjoyed her six grandchildren and was often
planning trips to vi
sit or projects to sew for them.

live closer to her daughter
