Kathy May Johnson

Kathy Johnson, 67 of Dresden, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020, in Paducah, KY. There are not any services scheduled at this time. There will be a memorial service announced at a later date.

Kathy's favorite movie was "Fly Away Home," and her favorite song was "Amazing Grace." She had a caring heart and peaceful mind.  She adored her grandchildren and always fed the family her 'famous' tacos, even though her favorite food was oysters!

Kathy was born in Fulton, KY on July 30, 1952, to the late Ellice Ledford Doughty and Georgie Mae Vanzandt. She is survived by her husband Wayne Johnson of Dresden, sons Ron Mangiaracinia of Dresden, and Pete Mangiaracinia of Texas, daughters Teresa Vermillion of Palmersville, and Heidi Mangiaracinia Gardiner of Dyersburg, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Debra Sue Doughty.
