Larry Gene Myrick

Larry Gene Myrick, 81 of Dresden, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare North in Jackson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2 pm at Dresden First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4 pm until 7 pm, and Tuesday at the church from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm. Mr. Myrick was born in Dresden on August 1, 1940 to the late George and Laverne Teague Myrick. He was a member of Dresden First Baptist Church, and a principal and teacher for over 42 years. He is survived by his wife Mary Louise Dunn Myrick, son Steve Myrick, daughter Suzanne (Doug) Obetz, and sister Brenda Sullivan, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Williams.
