Lauvern Ward (Arnold)

Mrs. Lauverne Ward age 74, of Dresden died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral services for Mrs. Ward were held on April 19, 2014 at the St. James Methodist Church with burial that followed in Sunrise Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward was the widow of Thomas Lloyd Ward and the mother of Neva (Billy) Skinner of Greenfield, Genene (James Edward) Jones of Dresden, Beverly (James) Foster of Paris, Pamela (Gregory) Evans of Sharon and Lucretia Ward of Nashville. She is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth (Thomas) Toney of Harvey, IL and Katrina (Lawrence) Lewis of Bellwood, IL, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was born September 21, 1939 in Dresden, TN to the late Rudolph and Annie B. Hayes Arnold. She was a factory employee for Kellwood Corporation and a member of St. James Church in Dresden. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were brothers, James and Thomas Arnold and sisters, Robbie Mae Smith, Christine Debro and Mary Dale.
