Linda Lou Montgomery

Linda Lou Montgomery, age 79, of Palmersville, TN, died Saturday morning at her residence.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 20th, 2021 from 9:00am - 10:30am at Bowlin Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00am in Palmersville Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.

Linda was born August 1, 1941 in Palmersville, TN to the late Willis and Pearl (Harris) Mitchell.  She spent most of her adult life in Michigan; teaching in the Roseville, MI school system for thirty-eight years.  She enjoyed playing a good hand of Bridge, traveling and dining out with family and friends.  Linda was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Palmersville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wanda Bullok; and niece, Melinda Bullok.  Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years, George Montgomery of Palmersville; son, Mitch (Amy) Montgomery of Lansing, MI; daughter, Kristen (Jeff) Griggs of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Marissa and Jace Montgomery of Lansing, MI and Jack and Maggie Griggs of Spartanburg, SC; numerous in-laws; and nieces and nephews.
