Lorene Dilday

Lorene Dilday, 97, of Dresden, TN, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Olive Branch Cemetery near Cottage Grove, TN. Bro. James Hazelwood, Bro. Phillip Norris and Bro. Lewis Screws officiated the services.

Mrs. Dilday was born August 3, 1918 in Dresden, TN to the late James Arthur and Vera Mae Tuck Lamb. She was a homemaker and Pentecostal in faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby Mae Dilday; two great great grandchildren; two brothers, Halbert Lamb and James "Moco" Lamb; and a sister, Lillian Sanders.

Mrs. Dilday is survived by a son, Jimmy Melton Dilday of Beech Bluff, TN; three daughters, Doris (David) Childress of Greenfield, TN, Betty (Bobby) Greer of Dresden, TN, and Barbara (Carl) Harrison of Dyer, TN; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren: and 2 great great grandchildren.
