Lyndell Beasley

Lyndell Beasley, 79, of Gleason, TN died Monday, September 30, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services were conducted Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Gleason First Baptist Church with burial following in Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason, TN.

Mr. Beasley was born January 15, 1934 in Weakley County, TN to the late Hillman and Beatrice Hedge Beasley. He was a cowboy for Spinks Farms, a Captain on the Riverboat and a gravedigger. He was a member of Gleason First Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Laudell Beasley.

Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret Martin Beasley of Gleason, son; Bradley Martin Beasley of Florida, sisters; Jessie Faye Mayfield of Jackson, MS and Betty Jean Hunt of Martin, TN. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Danielle Lee Patton of Tiptonville, TN, Sarah Elizabeth Ellis and Madison Marie Dellinger both of Gleason, 5 great grandchildren, Elijah Malike Young, Hallee Amya Young, Hayden Maleah Beasley, Damon Rowen Ellis and Andrew Korbyn Ellis all of Gleason.
