Mabel Elizabeth Williams

Mabel Elizabeth Williams age 84 of Martin, passed away on October 1, 2020 at Van Ayer Healthcare & Rehab in Martin.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday 10/4/2020 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery near Latham.  Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday 10/3/2020 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Sunday 10/4/2020 from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.  Mabel Elizabeth Williams was born May 27, 1936 in Latham, TN. to the late Carlos Maxey and Lulu Morris Maxey.  She worked as a house keeper for much of her life, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She is survived by her son, James Benham of Union City, her daughter, Ann McClellan of Dresden, 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Frank Benham.
