Margaret Faye Mansfield (Gatewood)

Margaret Faye Mansfield, 84, of Martin, TN, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Volunteer Community Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Mansfield were Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Macks Grove Cemetery near Dresden.

Mrs. Mansfield was born December 17, 1928 in Weakley County, TN to the late Horace Wayne and Evelyn Alexander Gatewood. She was a housewife and beautician and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

Mrs. Mansfield is survived by her husband, William Harold Mansfield whom she married July 13, 1946. She is also survived by her children; David (Sue) Mansfield of Dresden, Mark (Cynthia) Mansfield of Aurora, CO, Gay (Frank) Wright of Camden and Judy (James) Matheny of Dresden; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, sisters; Lillian (Garey) Mosley of Dresden, Betty (Gerald) Taylor of Waverly and Nell Freeman of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and George Gatewood and sisters, Mary Davis and Nancy Carol Gatewood.
