Marian Grace Jones (Simmons)

Marian Grace Simmons Jones, 88, of Tunica, MS, formerly of Dresden, TN, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Tunica Nursing Home in Tunica, MS. Graveside services were Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Martin Memorial Gardens in Martin, TN.

Mrs. Jones was born in Palmersville, TN on July 9, 1925 to the late Paul and Channie Brundige Simmons. She was a seamstress and a member of Paris First Baptist Church, Paris, TN. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orvill Jones.

Mrs. Jones is survived by a son, Chris (Lisa) Jones of Mobile, AL; a daughter, Cheryl (Scott) Feathers of Olive Branch, MS; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
