Marie Pentecost Mangum

Marie Pentecost Mangum age 93 of Dresden, died on April 2, 2018 at Hillview Community and Living Center. Visitation for Ms. Mangum was held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in Dresden First Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM. Ms. Marie Mangum was born May 31, 1924 in Palmersville, TN to the late Cayce and Carrie LaFon Pentecost, she was a retired school teacher and homemaker, along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; William "Bill" Mangum, her daughter;Jenny Marie Mangum, her brother, Cayce LaFon Pentecost and her sister, LaRue Dunn. She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Ricky) Finney, her son; Andy (Patsy) Mangum both of Dresden, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Dresden First Baptist Church Building Fund or American Red Cross in honor of Marie Pentecost Mangum.
