Marion Riggs

Marion Riggs age 90 of Dresden passed away on January 17, 2017 at the Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center. Funeral services for Mr. Riggs were held on Friday, January 20, 2017 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery. Bro. B.J. Erwin officiated the service.
Mr. Marion is survived by his daughter; Trudy (Wilburn) Sanders, his brother; Jerry (Joyce) Riggs, his sister; Marjorie Cooper, his 3 grandchildren; Carrie (Barry) Scronce, Randy and Rory Cashon, his 3 great-grandchildren; Dalton Cashon, Tanner and Marlee Scronce. He was preceded in death by his parents; Mack Louis Riggs (father), Ruby Mae Buckley (mother) and his sister; Shirley Norvell. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during WWII. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ, Dresden American Legion, and a 25 year member of the Dresden Masonic Lodge.
