Martha Nell Hopper

Martha Nell Hopper, 80 of Gleason, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Quality Center Rehabilitation in Lebanon, TN.  Funeral services will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Gleason First Baptist Church beginning at 2:00 pm.  Visitation will be on Thursday, May 13 at Gleason First Baptist Church from 10:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow in New Valley Cemetery.Martha Nell Hopper was born December 7, 1940, in Gleason to the late Chesley and Bobbie Clement Higgins. She is survived by 2 sons, David (Jackie) Hopper of Hermitage,TN, Greg (Kathy) Hopper of Meridianville, AL, sister Ruby Phelps of Gleason, 2 grandchildren David (Laura)Hopper, and Kayla ( Matt) Guyette, and 3 great grandchildren, Colton and Tyler Atchley, and Stella Hopper. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Harold Hopper, and 2 sisters.
