Mary Elizabeth Freeman, born on February 24, 1938, in Dresden, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Mary was known throughout her life for her vibrant spirit and love for social gatherings. She was a proud member of the Bridge Club, where she enjoyed sharing many joyful moments with friends while indulging in her passion for playing cards. Her warm smile and approachable nature made her a beloved figure in her community.

Mary was the daughter of Homer C. Tucker and Mary Louise Griffin, both of whom have preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to her late husband, Joe Bunk Freeman, with whom she shared many fulfilling years.

She is survived by her three devoted children: sons Mike Freeman and his wife Carolyn Freeman, and Bryon Freeman, along with her daughter Sherry Busby, married to Max Busby. Mary also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Joe and John Freeman, who brought immense joy to her life. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her brothers, Larry Tucker and Billy Joe Tucker, her sister Peggy Waller, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her with love and fond memories.

Visitation services for Mary Elizabeth Freeman will be held at Bowlin Funeral Home, located at 279 W Main St, Dresden, TN 38225. Visitors are welcome on November 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on November 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A formal funeral service will follow on November 12, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM, officiated by Bro. Corey Sawyers. Following the service, burial will take place at Pisgah Cemetery in Dresden.

Mary's warmth, kindness, and love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and joy, which will be remembered and cherished for generations to come.
