Mary Lee Higgs

Mrs. Mary Lee Higgs, age 77, died Friday, January 25, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019, in the Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Bowlin Funeral Home on the day of the service from 10:30 am to service time at 2:00 pm.  Bro. Rick Walker will officiate the service.  Mary Lee Higgs was born February 23, 1941 to the late Charlie and Martha Jones Ezzell.  She was the widow of Mr. Wiley Higgs.  She is survived by her son, Paul (Deanna) Higgs of Dresden; three daughters: Diane (Lynn) McCain of McKenzie; Connie (Billy) Rachels of Sharon; Donna (Clarke) Schleicher of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.  She is also survived by two brothers, Wayne and Billy Marlowe, one sister; Sue Ann Rice, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by three sisters; Ruth Miller, Vergie Morgan, and  Louise Howell, her 4 brothers; Dodie Dean, Conley Ezell, Ed Dean, and Tommy Dean.
