Mary Frances Moon

Mary Frances Moon, of Gleason TN, gladly heard the Lord call her name Wednesday, September 25, 2024 surrounded by family in the loving home she and her late husband Gerald Moon built together over 74 years of marriage.  Survived by siblings Thomas Crawford and Norma Sue Crawford, their 3 beautiful daughters Donna Legens, Paula Cebelak and Linda Clark, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Vera Crawford, sister Ruby Barnes and brother Paul Crawford.
We will gather to honor her life Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Jolley Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10:30 until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Bro. Richard Brewer and Bro. G. W. Moon will officiate.  The Pallbearers will be Michael McGowan, James Bryant, Jacob Bryant, Samuel Bryant, Rick Legens, and Luke Crawford.  Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.
An active member of Jolley Springs Baptist Church for 70 years as a deacon’s wife, she always had room at her table for anyone.  An avid gardener, leader of the summer strolls to the watermelon patch and excellent bicycle trainer to her grandchildren, she enriched every life she touched.
