Michael Ray Summers

Michael Ray Summers, 32, of Bruceton, TN, formerly of Dresden died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services were Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 4:30 pm in the Chapel of Bowlin Funeral Home with burial following in Jolley Springs Cemetery near Dresden.

Michael was born in Martin, TN on November 11, 1982 to Lynn R. (Paula) Summers of Camden, TN and Janet Diane Wilson (David) Vowell of Dresden. Michael was a produce manager for Summer's Specialized Merchandise and Walmart and was also self employed with an online business. He was a 2001 graduate of Dresden High School, received an Associates Degree in CAD drawing, was a member of Jolley Springs Baptist Church and held a 3rd degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate. He married Christina Hake in February, 2013 who also survives.

In addition to his wife and parents, Michael is survived by his stepson, Anthony Galindo of Paris, TN grandmother, Thelma Summers of Dresden, sisters; Jenny Anderson of Camden and Heather (Wayne) Gibson of Martin, TN, step siblings, Lyle DeRiemacker of Camden, TN and Sarah DeRiemacker also of Camden, nephews; Zachary and Brandon Anderson and Dustin Gibson, nieces; Faith Anderson and Jazmyn and Shelby Gibson and great nephews, Dakoda and Xander Gibson.
